Massive SE Minnesota Expo Features Mullets, Music, Meals and Tons of Free Stuff
Discover the Music, Mullets, and Mass a Myriad of Freebies This Weekend!
It's one of the most successful expos in all of Southeast Minnesota, showcasing more than 100 businesses and organizations offering information, entertainment, games, and free stuff. Lots and lots of free stuff.
This was one of the first events my family and I attended when we moved to SE Minnesota, and we have made it a point to return every year since. It's seriously impressive to see that many people and organizations come together in one place.
The event is the 24th annual Dodge County Expo; a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and connection, and it's FREE to attend!
Alongside the many helpful vendors, there will be a plethora of family-friendly attractions, including Boy Scouts Pine Wood Derby, Rookie the Clown, juggling, and a scavenger hunt for the kids, sending them on a fun-filled quest throughout the expo, solving puzzles and discovering hidden treasures.
Adults can also win prizes at the Chambers of Commerce booth, where there will be a variety of baskets full of valuable gifts donated by member businesses.
If food is your love language, then the brand-new addition of the expansive food court featuring Dodge County area restaurants is exactly what you need. Featuring cuisine from County Seat Coffee House, HammerQ BBQ, Plaza Morena, Papa's Roast Coffee Trailer, B-Lo Zero Sno Cones & Minnie Donuts, and Wescon Lanes
Mullets are making a comeback!
Celebrating the iconic hairstyle, the Dodge County Expo is hosting its inaugural Mullet Contest. Whether business in the front and party in the back is your life motto or you just love a good throwback, everyone is invited to showcase their splendid mullets in all their glory (wigs are welcome, too!). This will, no doubt, provide some fantastic photo opportunities.
The mullet contest is open to all ages and judging will begin at 1:15 pm inside the Expo on March 23, 2024. Pre-registration is NOT required.
And if all that isn't enough, the Rockin' Hep Cats from Dodge Center, MN will be there adding their classic rock n' roll vibes for your listening and viewing pleasure.
When and Where is the 2024 Dodge County Expo?
The Dodge County Expo is Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Triton High School in Dodge Center, MN. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
