If you love HGTV as much as I do, you will absolutely love this! A Duluth home was just featured on an iconic television show we have all seen - and for good reason.

House Hunters is an absolutely iconic show that has been on for what feels like forever. I have seen so many episodes and yet I feel like I could keep watching and never catch up. That's how long it's been on.

This isn't our first appearance on the channel. For example, a couple of years ago, the channel crowned a Minnesota home the ugliest house in America! That's tough.

To be fair, it was for the show Ugliest House In America and to be fair, it was a little ugly. It was located in St. Cloud but now it's Duluth's turn in the spotlight with an episode of House Hunters filmed right here in the Northland.

Everyone wants something different when it comes to what they are looking for in their home! This homeowner wants a home with potential but also one where she can add her own personal touch, which is the best part of owning your own space.

Alicia Lokke shared the news on social media yesterday (December 1st) and shared that her listing was part of the episode. That has to be a really cool feeling! For the record, the show follows one or two people searching for a home and they usually look at three options before deciding on their dream home.

Another fun fact? Jessie Erickson shared that this is the first House Hunters episode featured in Duluth! Duluth is really growing in popularity, especially over the past few years, and I have a feeling this is only going to add to that.

I won't give any spoilers - even though you probably learned by now which house the homeowner didn't choose based on this story so far. Ha! Hopefully you can catch a rerun of the episode before it drops on streaming services.

In the meantime, enjoy this perfect holiday video courtesy of HGTV that will make you feel like you're in front of a nice, warm fire.
