Movie Filmed In Duluth + Hermantown Premieres On Lifetime

It's been a huge few years for movies - especially those filmed right here in Minnesota. We've become a pretty hot spot for film sets and it's very exciting.

We've had a handful of successful and fun movies filmed in the state - and even right here in the Duluth area - over the past few years, including a few Christmas movies. One of them called Merry Kiss Cam really took off on Hulu!

There have also been movies and television pilots filmed nearby, with a recent thriller filmed in Chisholm making its big debut over Thanksgiving weekend. These are just a few examples of many.

Now, we have yet another movie making its big debut - and it was filmed in our neck of the woods! It looks pretty intense and made its big premiere over the weekend.

Movie Filmed In Duluth Area Premieres On Lifetime Over The Weekend

This is the very best time of the year to watch movies since we don't really know what time it is or what day it is until the new year. A new movie called The Hockey Mom's Revenge premiered on Lifetime on Saturday (December 27th).

The film is about an hour and a half long and if the title didn't give it away, it's pretty intense! Here's the synopsis per Lifetime:

The Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce excitedly shared a few more details about the film, sharing that it was completely filmed in Minnesota. This makes perfect sense since hockey is so big here.

They also shared that the film was shot here last June, with a handful of local businesses taking part in the production process in one way or another. It's so true that watching these movies filmed in the area is such a thrill!
