Austin, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are at the scene of a fatal crash in Austin.

So far very little information has been released.
The Austin Police Department published a Facebook post about the fatal crash around 4:00 Thursday morning.

The fatality occurred Oakland Pl. SE between 10th and 11th Streets SE.

Police did not say how many vehicles were involved. Other details about the deadly crash are not available.
Road Closed Until Further Notice
The State Patrol and Austin Fire Department also responded to the scene. Oakland Pl. SE is closed in the area of the crash scene until further notice.
Austin police say they’ll release more information at a later time.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area and take alternative routes during Thursday morning’s commute.
