Update: State Patrol ID's Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Wabasha

Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash along a scenic stretch of highway near Wabasha.

Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Wabasha

The State Patrol is reporting that the fatal incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Highway 60, approximately 3 1/2 miles west of Wabasha. The preliminary crash report indicates the motorcyclist was traveling west up the bluff when he lost control and struck a guardrail.

27-Year-Old Minneapolis Man Killed

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the 27-year-old Minneapolis man has not been released.

The Wabasha County Sheriff's Office also responded to the deadly incident, which remains under investigation.
