Wanted Rochester Woman Accused of Fleeing Deputies at High Speeds Arrested After Crashing
Stewartville, MN (KROC-AM News)- Deputies from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted Rochester woman accused of fleeing law enforcement at high speeds Tuesday night.

Sheriff’s Captain Tim Parkin said a deputy spotted her driving in Stewartville around 11 p.m. The deputy recognized the driver as a person with an active gross-misdemeanor arrest warrant.
Deputies attempted to stop the driver but she refused to pull over, the report says.
Rochester Woman With Active Arrest Warrant Accused of Fleeing Deputies at 100 mph
Law enforcement spotted her vehicle near the Casey’s Gas Station in the 2000 block of North Main St. in Stewartville. Parkin said the suspect driver was identified as 32-year-old Alysa Mohs.
She’s accused of fleeing an attempted traffic stop north on Hwy. 63 at speeds that reached approximately 100 mph at times, Parkin says.
The pursuing deputies made what Parkin described as a brief attempt to stop her before deactivating their emergency equipment and losing sight of the suspect vehicle.
A different deputy then spotted the suspect vehicle in a ditch in the area of Hwy. 63 and 48th St. South a short time after the terminated pursuit and ordered Mohs out of the vehicle.
The report indicates Mohs refused commands to exit the vehicle and was seen smoking meth inside of the vehicle, Parkin said.
Law enforcement then forced her out of the vehicle and placed her under arrest. Parkin said the deputies smelled alcohol on Mohs’s breath.
She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital to be evaluated then transported to the Olmsted County Jail. Mohs was arrested on suspicion of Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, Obstruction of Justice.
Deputies also obtained a warrant to draw a sample of her blood for testing. She could also face a third-degree DWI charge pending the testing results of the blood sample, Parkin said.
