
Two Hurt in Separate Crashes on Slick SE Minnesota Highways
Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a pair of injury crashes Sunday morning in southeastern Minnesota.
The first was reported around 9 AM in Dodge County. The State Patrol says a pickup headed east on Highway 14 went off the roadway and crashed into the median cable barrier. The crash was reported about 2 miles west of Dodge Center. The highway was snow and ice covered at the time.
The driver of the pickup was identified as 57-year-old Thomas Eustice of Mankato. He was transported to St. Marys Hospital by Dodge Center Ambulance with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The other injury crash occurred about an hour later in Winona County.
The State Patrol says 55-year-old Maurella Cunningham of Winona was driving a SUV south on Highway 61 just south of Winona when she lost control on the snow and ice covered roadway and crashed.

The State Patrol incident report indicates she was transported by ambulance to the Winona hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
