Dennison Days Fun is This Weekend

Dennison, Mn. is in Rice and Goodhue County with a population of about 220 people.  It will swell this weekend for Dennison Days.

The cats in Dennison know how to throw a party.

Friday, August 4. 2023 there will be a Bags Tournament in front of 625 Bar and Grill at 6:00 p.m. and live music under the tent features Dariann Leigh at 7:30 p.m.

This is a rain or shine event.  Food stands open at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in downtown Dennison which is only a few blocks long.

The Saturday schedule is filled with fun for people of all ages.  It's great to see all the families enjoying the day in town.

8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast will be hosted by Nerstrand-Dennison Fire Department and Dennison Community Church.  $12 for adults, $5 for kids, 12 & under, 3 & under FREE. Includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice, milk. Under the Main Street tent.

8:00 a.m.  Farmer's Market Downtown, Citywide Garage Sales, 5K Run begins at Paul's Plumbing Building, North of Dennison Depot.  Classic Car Show on Mainstreet presented by Capitol Construction.  Trophies at 1:00 p.m.

8:30 a.m. Euchre at Fireside Lounge

9:00 a.m. Truck and Tractor Pull Begins on the Hill

10:00 a.m. Cow Milking Contest Main Street, Hosted by David Flom Dairy

11:00 a.m. Joel Stenhaug and Jim Tracy Memorial Horseshoe Tournament at City Park Presented by Dennison Lions.   Kid's Bingo under the tent presented by Dennison Lions Ages 3-11.

12:30 p.m. Parade Downtown- A Kiddie Parade (Ages 12 & under) leads off the Main Parade.  $100 Prize for Best Parade Entry.  Sign Up is Noon South Mainstreet

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Kids Carnival Presented by Dawin and Lori Amy and Randolph FFA Students

1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 625 Bar & Grill Foosball Tournament Sign up at 625 Bar & Grill

1:30 p.m. Road Rally (Line up south side of elevator) Prizes.  Hosted by Dennison Lions Club

2:00 p.m. Kids Pedal Pull on Mainstreet (at Mainstreet intersection) sign up starts 1:30 p.m.

3:30 p.m.  Purse and Gift Card Bingo Under Mainstreet Tent prersented by Dennison Lions and Fireside Lounge.

5:00 p.m.  Game Show to be determined

7:30 p.m. to Midnight Live Music from "WRECKLESS" on Mainstreet Stage age 18+ event.  No cover charge.  Must be 21 to drink.  Presented by Capitol Construction and Fireside Lounge and Supper Club.
