If Minnesotans aren't on a lake during our gorgeous summer days, they are probably on a golf course. According to Golftimemag.com, Minnesotans played about 7.96 million rounds of golf in 2023. To say that our state has a few golf fans is an understatement.
If you love the game, or just want to try it with a group of friends, there is one golf event in Southeast Minnesota in August that you won't want to miss!

Back in 2022, the First Alliance Credit Union Foundation was founded and its mission "is to make financial success achievable for all". In 2024 alone, the foundation made donations to the Women's Shelter & Support Center, Rochester Somali Community Center, Family Service Rochester, RCTC Foundation (OAKS), United Way - ALICE, Collider Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of S MN, and the Jeremiah Program. But those donations would not have been possible without people like you showing up to play a fun round of golf.
Grab your clubs and swing for a cause at the First Alliance Credit Union Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Wednesday, August 14th at The Jewel in Lake City, MN. It’s more than a great day on the green, your registration or sponsorship helps raise vital funds to support financial literacy, affordable housing, small businesses, and youth programs across Southeast Minnesota.

TIME:
- 11:00am - registration opens
- 12:00pm - box lunches are available to enjoy before the tournament starts
- 1pm - 6pm - shotgun start at 1 will start the golf tournament and it will go until 6pm
- 6pm - dinner is served!
- 6:30pm - raffle winners announced
