Forbes' annual list of Billionaires grew by 390 in 2026. President Trump's wealth skyrocketed as he climbed up the list. Forbes says, "Trump has presided over the most lucrative presidency in American history, adding billions to his net worth, largely by cashing in on crypto." New faces to the billionaire club include Dr. Dre,  Beyoncé, and tennis great Roger Federer.

💰The Wealthiest People in Minnesota in 2026

Jeffrey Michael landed on the list of wealthiest Minnesotans with a net-worth of   $1.2 Billion. Michael is a founding investor and chairman of the healthcare technology company CorVel Corp.

John and Martha MacMillan are two of 21 billionaire heirs to the Cargill fortune. These two each have a net-worth of around $1.7 Billion. Cargill is the world’s largest private food and agriculture company.

Stanley Hubbard ($1.9 Billion) is a St. Paul broadcasting pioneer and chairman of Hubbard Broadcasting. His family-owned empire includes KSTP and a massive footprint in national radio and television.

 

And, Glen Taylor ($3.1 Billion) is once again the richest person in Minnesota. He recently made headlines regarding the sale of the Timberwolves and Lynx, and his Taylor Corp empire continues to dominate the printing and graphics industry.
