R-Rated Experience Set to Heat Up 3 Minnesota Malls This May
Do you remember the first R-rated movie you ever watched? I think mine was White Men Can’t Jump. I was 10 and immediately fell in love with Rosie Perez, and Woody Harrelson is still one of my favorite actors.
I watched a lot of R-rated movies whenever I stayed home sick from school. Most of them weren’t all that interesting to a kid, but there was something cool about hearing swear words and getting away with something I wasn’t supposed to be doing.
The term R-rated is exciting for a kid because it's off limits, but it even grabs your attention as an adult and makes you think of adult language, violence, and sexual content. So, when you hear that an R-rated tent show is going to be traveling through Minnesota, your ears perk up.
R-Rated Experience Set to Heat Up 3 Minnesota Malls This May
People visit malls for food and fun, and starting this May, three Minnesota malls will spice things up with some R-rated entertainment.
The show is rated R for adult themes, and organizers say you need to be at least 17 with a valid photo ID to purchase a ticket.
Paranormal Cirque Coming to Minnesota Malls
This traveling R-rated tent show features “Acrobats of the Air, Illusionists, freaks, mysterious creatures.”
The event’s website explains, “A crazy yet fun fusion between Circus, theatre, and cabaret in perfect harmony with the evolution of a show that brings you back to when we dream ... and when we had nightmares and fantasies.”
I've never been to a Cirque show, but I’ve watched similar performances on TV, and I’m always amazed by how athletic and talented the performers are.
You'll be able to see them live when they roll through Minnesota in a couple of weeks. Get the show info below.
