I don’t know about you, but grocery shopping lately feels like a full-on tour of Rochester.

A quick stop at Costco for snacks the kids have to have. Another at Target for that one random item you can only find there. Then a detour to Hy-Vee for the one thing the other two were out of. And somehow, you still end up forgetting something.

That said… there are two places I frequent, and apparently, I’m not the only one.

A new survey just named the most trusted grocery stores in America. Not just Rochester. Not just Minnesota. The entire country. And it all tracks.

When it comes to grocery shopping, people are creatures of habit. We go back to the places we trust, stores that are convenient, fairly priced, and actually have what we’re looking for. That’s exactly what this new report looked at.

Rochester Is Home To 2 Of America’s Most Trusted Grocery Stores:

I don’t always plan to make Walmart my main stop… it just kind of happens when I’m trying to get in and out without making three more grocery trips later.

Even though I bounce around to a few different stores throughout the week, Walmart is usually the one that has most of what we need… and at prices that don’t make me do a double take at checkout.

The 2026 BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards surveyed more than 35,000 shoppers across America, asking which brands they trust the most, and when it came to groceries, Walmart came out on top picking up the most wins overall, with shoppers calling out everything from prices and promotions to customer service and pickup options.

Aldi also showed up strong, which makes sense if you’ve ever walked in for “just a few things” and walked out feeling oddly proud of how little you spent. Definitely my other go-to. Aldi is especially popular here in the Midwest, where shoppers love it for its lower prices and quick, no-frills shopping experience.

Be honest… do you actually have a go-to grocery store, or are we all just rotating between whoever has what we forgot last time?
