Top 10 Public High Schools in Wisconsin Revealed in New Report

U.S. News & World Report released its 2024 Best High Schools rankings earlier this week. The rankings were based on graduation rate, college readiness, and enrollment, among other factors. Discover the top-performing public high schools in the U.S. and in the state of Wisconsin.

The highest-ranked public schools in the 2024 Best High Schools national rankings from U.S. News & World Report are those with students who achieved exceptional scores on state assessments for math, reading, and science.

According to U.S. News, the schools performed well in helping underserved students succeed, getting them ready for college, and offering a wide range of subjects. They also had high rates of students graduating.

"College readiness" looks at how students do on tough exams like Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate tests. "Underserved student performance" looks specifically at how well Black, Hispanic, or low-income students are doing.
