Illinois hosts many large expos in Chicago but one of the biggest of the year is packed with nerds that come to town to meet their favorite celebrities.

The C2E2 Chicago Comic And Entertainment Expo Returns To McCormick Place

First of all, when I use the word "nerd" to describe people I'm using it as a term of endearment because I'm a big nerd myself. I'm not afraid to admit it. If I had the time and money, I would be going to this event too.

I understand that you might not completely know what the C2E2 Expo actually is. You were just curious to find out what it's all about. The event is the ultimate geek celebration hosting celebrity guests, vendors, exhibits, and so much more. Just think of it as pop culture for nerds.

This year, the multi-day geek con event is from April 26th through the 28th. It's being hosted by McCormick Place in Chicago. Tickets are on sale now. You can just purchase general admission but if you would like some autographs or photo ops with the special celebrity guests, that's going to cost you extra.
