Illinois Man Caught Hotboxing Car Arrested For Illegal Gun

Illinois man arrested with illegal gun after attracting attention to himself by filling up his vehicle with pot smoke.

Illinois Man Threatened With Gun

Local Police were called to an apartment complex in Des Plaines. The report was that the victim was threatened with a gun by a carload of men. The caller explained that the suspects were still hanging out in the parking lot.

When the Des Plaines police arrived on the scene they spotted a suspicious car parked in the lot. As they got closer to investigate, they noticed the vehicle was filled with smoke. The officers could also smell weed. The group was hotboxing their BMW.

Illinois Police Search Suspicious Vehicle

When the police approached the vehicle to investigate the situation they demanded the driver and passengers to exit the car. The officers searched the BMW and they were welcomed by smoke and the odor of weed. They also found pot.

One of the suspects admitted to having a gun on him. He didn't have a FOID card or concealed carry license. He was arrested. Once again, another dumb criminal was arrested for attracting attention to himself while breaking the law.

When an officer approached the car, a male opened the driver's door, allowing a cloud of smoke, later identified as burnt cannabis, to leave the vehicle.
