
Minnesota Parents: Urgent Safety Alert On Recalled Highchairs
Parents of infants and small children need to be aware of a recall that came out late last week on a widely sold highchair. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says that the Giraffe Highchairs sold by Bugaboo North America have been placed on the recall list because the legs of chairs could collapse is they are not tightened down properly.
What sparked this recall?
There have been 22 reported cases of the legs collapsing and there have been 13 reports of minor injuries. The fear is that without this recall, the injuries could be more serious even fatal.

Over 18,200 of these chairs were sold in America while over 2,300 were sold in Canada. Among the locations these highchairs were sold include the Bugaboo website and amazon.com. The chairs were sold between May 2023 ad April of this year.
Which Highchairs Are Under The Recall?
The highchairs in question are 30 inches tall, 21 inches wide and 23 inches long and were sold in three different colors. The item codes can be found on the bottom of the seat.
The Blue chair has the model number of 200008005
The Black chair has the model number of 200008004
The Neutral Wood/White chair has the model number of 200008002
The Warm Wood/Gray chair has the model number of 200008003
The White chair has the model number of 200008001
