Jon Pardi on Vocal Rest, Big & Rich to Fill in at Lakes Jam

Some bad news coming from Jon Pardi this week, just as concerts are starting to happen again he has been put on vocal rest. Sharing a frowning face picture on Facebook Pardi said:

For the first time in my life I have been ordered by the doctor to go on vocal rest and it is NOT EASY!!!
All shows through End of June will be rescheduled. We really appreciate the support and understanding. I promise to do my part and stay as healthy as possible to continue singing and performing. Sorry for the inconvenience. See you in July!

Jon Pardi was set to be the headlining act for Friday, June 25th at Lakes Jam at Brainerd International Raceway. Luckily the guys in Big & Rich came through and will be filling his boots.

Lakes Jam shared the news on Facebook saying:

Lakes Jam wishes Jon a speedy recovery and we’ll all be raising a glass in his honor, in late June! The show will go on without him this year, but he’ll be back in 2022 and we can’t wait! Til then, we’ll all just need a little Heartache Medication!
With very short notice, we are extremely thankful, and excited, that Big & Rich will now be performing June 25th at Lakes Jam! They sing Coming to Your City, well now they’re coming to ours! Jam On!

Lakes Jam also shared that Jon Pardi will be joining their lineup for 2022 to make up for this unexpected circumstance.
