JUST ANNOUNCED: one of Rochester's very own will be competing on the Food Network!

Super excited for Julie Domaille with Julie's Cookie Creations in Rochester.  She just announced on her Facebook page that she will be one of the cookie artists competing on the Food Network during the Season Premiere of the Christmas Cookie Challenge on the Food Network, Monday, November 9th at 9 pm.  And if you've ever seen her photos of her creations on Facebook or Instagram, you already know that she's got some amazing skills.  In fact, her cookies look almost too good to eat.

I am thrilled for Julie!  She and I met when we were both judges for the Chili Challenge for the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester last year.  It was a great and spicy time and it was a pleasure to chat with her and learn more about her business.  I'm convinced I'd still never be able to create anything close to what she is able to put on a cookie, but that is why she is on the Christmas Cookie Challenge show on the Food Network and why there are other shows like "Nailed It"...which is more my level of baking.

If you've never taken a peek at what Julie can create, you absolutely must look at her photos on Instagram and Facebook.  They truly are phenomenal and I am always impressed.

Good luck, Julie!  Can't wait to watch and see your talent on TV.
