Kaprizov’s Jersey One of the Top-Selling in NHL (Any Guess Who’s #1?)
On Sunday I went to my first Minnesota Wild game of the season. The Wild were down 1-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets and the end of the first period, and down 2-0 after the second.
Then somebody flipped the Kirill Kaprizov switch.
He scored two goals in the third period, and completed his hat-trick with a goal in overtime, giving the Wild comeback 3-2 win. Those were his 35th, 36th, and 37th goals of the season.
Kaprizov was drafted in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft by the Minnesota wild, but Kirill would not see action with the team until the 2020-2021 season. He had 29 goals in his rookie campaign, 54 last season, and has 37 to date in 2022-2023.
To say the least, the 25-year old Russian has been sensational; capturing the admiration of fans here in the State of Hockey and across the National Hockey League. And the proof is in the pudding (or sweater), as Kirill Kaprizov's jersey is among the top-sellers around the league this season.
MinnesotaBets.com has created a forecast where they predict which NHL players' jerseys will be among the hottest sellers this season.
2022-2023 Top-Selling NHL Jersey Predictions
- Alexander Ovechkin (Washington Capitals)
- Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers)
- Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins)
- Auston Matthews (Toronto Maple Leafs)
- Patrick Kane (New York Rangers)
- Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche)

The Minnesota Wild are looking to make the playoffs for the fourth straight season, with the hope of making a deeper run this time around. They are in the hunt for the league's Central Division title -- and success in 2022-2023 will be heavily impacted by the play of Kirill the Thrill.
