Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week

The Kat Kountry 105 Kountry Kat of the Week is Aurora. She's just about a year old and was just taken into foster care a couple of weeks ago. Aurora is a Siamese mix. Right now she's a little slow to warm up to humans and doesn't like being in a crate. She enjoys laser lights and catnip. I bet she would have enjoyed Woodstock. Her secret desire is to visit the Aurora Diner on the Steele County fairgrounds, but she realizes that isn't too likely. Aurora's adoption fee is $150.

A number of new pets arrived in the past week or so at the Steele County Humane Society. Check out their website to see some of the new comers.

Summer heat is in the forecast so it's all that much more important to see that your pets have plenty of fresh water and shade.

The Society still welcomes donations of pet supplies in good condition and pet food. They will also take your old toner and cartridges for recycling.
