Kenny Chesney just announced the date he's rescheduled his 2022 tour stop here in Minnesota, but it could cause a serious conflict.

Kenny Chesney has had to postpone his entire Chillaxification Tour twice now, thanks to the pandemic. It was originally scheduled to run through the spring and summer of 2020 and included a stop at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. But that didn't happen.

Then, Kenny rescheduled the tour for spring and summer 2021, which once again included a June 5th, 2021 date at the home of the Vikings. But, of course, that tour didn't happen either when Kenny announced back in March that he was postponing the tour until next year.

And now, Kenny has announced the 2022 dates for his now long-awaited world tour, which has now been renamed the 'Here and Now' Tour. And once again, it does include a stop here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Kenny, along with Old Dominion, Dan + Shay, and Carly Pearce, are all set to play U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 6th, 2022.

Which sounds great, until you realize that Saturday, August 6th, 2022 is also the last day of WE Fest next year, the huge country music festival that's held every summer in Detroit Lakes. And, though we don't know the exact WE Fest schedule yet, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Miranda Lambert are all set to perform there this year (along with Lee Brice, Chris Janson, Riley Green, and more.)

So, once the WE Fest schedule is released and we know which country star is headling their show on August 6th, it looks like we'll have to make a BIG choice about just which country star we want to see in person. (Unless you're already busy doing something else.)

Of course, Kenny's show is much closer to our neck of the woods than WE Fest is. You can get from Rochester to U.S. Bank Stadium in about an hour and a half, depending on Twin Cities traffic. Meanwhile, a trip to the WE Fest grounds at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes is closer to a four-and-a-half-hour trip from the Med City.

But still, do they both have to be on the same day?!? That's a serious red flag, isn't it? (Speaking of red flags, keep scrolling to check out some OTHER red flag things people are saying about Rochester and Minnesota!)
