Winona State University junior 6'2 Megan Flom of Kenyon was named today the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Flom was a very consistent hitter in high school and that performance has carried to the next level.

This past weekend Flom had  a .520 attack percentage and hit a career best .552 against #8 nationally ranked SMSU with 17 kills.  She clubbed 28 kills over the weekend, added 3 service aces, 3 digs, 9 blocks over the weekend.

The NSIC Setter of the week was Flom's teammate junior Bre Maloney of Roseville, Mn.  Set the offense to a .296 team attacking percentage in two road sweeps over Top 25 teams by averaging 12.33 assists per set.

The NSIC Defensive Player of the Week award went to junior Erin Fallert of Maplewood, Mn. of Concordia-St. Paul.  Fallert is an outside hitter and led her team with 48 digs in wins over Augustana and Wayne State.

Another top performer from the KDHL/POWER 96 area noted in a NSIC Media Release included former Faribault Bethlehem Academy star Payton Nutter of Concordia-St. Paul.  Nutter tallied 105 assists to go along with 20 digs.  She had 45 assists Friday and a career high 60 assists in Saturday's win over Wayne State while collecting her 4th double-double of the season in a win at Augustana.
