KRFO Radio's Scholar Dollar program, in its 25th year, has given more than $63,000 to more than 125 Owatonna students. Scholarship recipients are chosen by OHS staff, and are judged on academics, school and community involvement, and financial need.

This year's winners are highly active in both school and community. Besides being stellar students, they belong to various athletic teams and school organizations, and take part in programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and church-based groups.

Business sponsors this year include Alexander Lumber, Express Employment Professionals, Harland's Tire, Hometown Credit Union, Owatonna Heating & Cooling, Sette Sports Center, Specialty Personnel Services, and Tone Music. Sette Sports Center and Tone Music have been sponsors each year of the program.

The students each shared a bit about their activities, as well as their plans after graduation.

OHS assistant principal Jeff Miller also offered some words of advice to the soon-graduating seniors.
