  1. Plastic cup lids are multifunctional

Ever wondered why there is another ring on the top of lids for paper and plastic to-go cups? Well, that is for you to use as a coaster for your cup. Simply take it off, flip it around, and the bottom of the cup fits perfectly inside. Also, the extension of the actual lid can act as something to catch the condensation so no more condensation on the table!

I know I have seen my pans and wondered why there is that hole at the end of the handle. While you can use it to hang your pans, it can also be used to hold your stirring spoon or spatula while your food cooks. No more leaving sauce or boiled water spots on your stove!

  1. The Detachable headrest of a car can help you escape if stuck

It’s always nice to know not only what you should have with you in your car in case of emergencies, but a way to get out in case you are trapped. Simply take a detachable headrest off a seat, and then position one of the metal pegs at about a 45-degree angle between the door and glass pain. From there you need to shimmy it around and maybe give it a hit or two and the glass will shatter.

Hopefully these tips have helped you in some way! All credit is given to the TikTok provided.
