These came from a TikTok video, and are really to share the hidden purpose of some items that we may use every day.

1. Plastic cup lids are multifunctional

Ever wondered why there is another ring on the top of lids for paper and plastic to-go cups? Well, that is for you to use as a coaster for your cup. Simply take it off, flip it around, and the bottom of the cup fits perfectly inside. Also, the extension of the actual lid can act as something to catch the condensation so no more condensation on the table!

2. What the hole in the handle on pans is for

I know I have seen my pans and wondered why there is that hole at the end of the handle. While you can use it to hang your pans, it can also be used to hold your stirring spoon or spatula while your food cooks. No more leaving sauce or boiled water spots on your stove!

3. What the hole in a pasta spoon is for

Now, some of you may know this one, but there is a reason why there is a hole in the middle of a pasta spoon. This hole gives you the exact measurement of 1 serving of pasta noodles, so you do not need to guess anymore.
