Lisa’s Logic: Basketball Madness

I'm not a big basketball fan. I like to listen and watch most sports -- baseball, football, hockey -- but not so much basketball.

But when it comes to this time of year, my husband and I do watch some games. We did not do a bracket, but we will probably still root for a team here and there. The games can be so close sometimes it's hard not to watch. I may pick a team to win that game and if they win, who knows.

With all that said, I did go to a NRHEG boys basketball game vs. USC this year and it was a good one. It was a little nerve-wracking in the first half because the Panthers were not scoring much, but the second half was a different story. At the end of the second half, there was a foul that the refs had to discuss for a few minutes whether USC would get the shot. They did and it ended up going into overtime and a win for the Panthers.

So it seems that I can watch college and high school basketball. Oh, and to tell the truth, I have watched the Lynx play and that was pretty good. This sure makes it sound like I could be a basketball fan, but I am a sports fan. I will not go out of my way to watch it, but with all the "madness" it is fun. I can root for any team and not worry about a bracket.
