It’s no surprise that Luke Combs would inspire the next generation of country stars, and according to a recent video, that inspiration extends to aspiring 4-year-old budding entertainers.

This week, Combs shared a video of a 4-year-old boy named Tripp who may already be ready to take the superstar's place onstage. In the clip, the young fan perfectly resembles a mini-Combs in his boots, jeans, button down sports shirt and camouflage hat.

Tripp showcases his superstar skills throughout the video as he sings Combs’ "Beer Never Broke My Heart” into a karaoke microphone on an outdoor patio. As he sings, the young performer walks around the “stage,” making sure his fans stay engaged. At one point, he even carries around an empty red Solo cup before hurling it across the yard at the beginning of the chorus.

Combs was clearly impressed by Tripp’s talents, writing in the caption that he may need him for a backup someday and inviting the boy to a show.

“Been looking for a backup in case I ever needed one, but I had not checked with the 4-year-olds yet,” he writes. “Haha. Tripp, you’re my guy! Let’s get you out to a show soon buddy!!"

The adorable video attracted likes and comments from many fans and fellow country stars. Miranda Lambert responded with the heart-eyes emoji, and Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen commented that the young boy will surely “smoke” them in a beer shotgunning contest someday. Devin Dawson also responded, noting that Tripp even "hit that harmony for a hot sec."

Combs will welcome his true mini-me this year, as he and wife Nicole are expecting a baby boy this spring. He also has a busy tour schedule on the books: He will head to the C2C Festival in the U.K. and Ireland from March 11-13.
