American rapper and songwriter Macklemore released his new album 'Ben' in March and will make a stop in Minnesota for his 2023 tour.

Macklemore started to become a familiar name after teaming up with producer Ryan Lewis and releasing a number one hit in 2013 titled 'Thrift Shop'. I can't believe it has been ten years since the fun smash hit made waves. It was also the first song since 1994 to top the Hot 100 chart without the support of a major record label.

Macklemore posted on his social media today (March 8th, 2023) that the pre-sale for his tour has started:

On October 1st, 2023 the rapper will be performing at The Armory in Minneapolis.

It is a great concert venue if you haven't been to The Armory. My first time in the building was when I went and saw The Lonely Island perform there about 4 years ago.

Based on the name of Macklemore's tour, it will undoubtedly showcase his newest solo third studio album, released earlier this month. Some of the tracks off the album include: "Chant" featuring Tones and I, "Maniac" featuring Windser, and his latest single "No Bad Days". Something cool about his latest single is that his 7-year-old daughter directed the music video. The song was even played at a recent Minnesota Wild game:

Tickets for the Minnesota show go on sale this Friday (March 8th) at 10 am. You can also get the pre-sale code by texting the number he provided in his tweet above. Looks like ticket prices start at $38 and you can check them out here.
