Man Suffers ‘Significant’ Face Injury At Downtown Rochester Bar
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who was hit over the head with a beer bottle at a downtown Rochester bar early Tuesday ended up at the hospital.
Officers were called to Kathy’s Pub just after midnight and found the man had suffered a “significant facial laceration.”
He was taken away by ambulance before officers could interview him.
The 36-year-old had an Illinois driver's license. A man who was with the victim apparently did not see the altercation until he heard the bottle break.
The man who hit the victim was described as black with dreadlocks or long braids. Investigators plan to review surveillance video in hopes of determining his identity.
