Starting today through July 21st, law enforcement agencies across the state will work overtime shifts to crack down on speeders. Last year, 113 motorists died on Minnesota roadways, which was the most in a decade.

The 100 deadliest days on Minnesota roads runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the Minnesota State Patrol wants to remind all travelers that a speeding ticket can cost a driver more than $110 for traveling 10-miles-per-hour over the limit, and double it for 20 mph over.
