Minnesota Native Cast On New Season Of 90 Day Fiancé

Well, this might have just made my whole day! A Minnesota native is on the newest season of 90 Day Fiancé. I was catching up on the latest season when a new cast member was introduced and sure enough, she hails from Minnesota.

Her name is Meisha Johnson and she is from Blaine, which is just two hours from the Twin Ports. According to a press release on the new season, she is a 43-year old who used to be a famous TV broadcaster before she left the career to explore her faith. She is now a Catholic convert who has dedicated her life to her religion.

Obviously, since she is on the show, that means she is in a relationship with someone from a different country! Her storyline on this season of 90 Day Fiancé will center around her relationship with Nicola. He is a 46-year-old from Israel. He lives with his mom and has never had a serious relationship until he met Meisha online seven years ago.

The two will meet in person on this season of 90 Day Fiancé for the very first time. This season will feature their first meeting as Meisha travels to see him abroad and the possibility of an engagement between the two. Wow! These two seem like a cute but unlikely pairing.

The new season just started airing this month so we are still early on in the journey. We will get to know more about Meisha and her love story as the show continues to air this summer. By the way, this is a spinoff of the original series, with this one being titled 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. 

The show has the same premise as the original, featuring eight couples meeting their foreign partner for the first time. They have ninety days to get married and figure out if they are compatible or they can't stay with their partner in another country, per laws and regulations. TLC sums it up best, writing:

I can't wait to see how this all plays out. It is pretty fun to have a reality star from Minnesota, especially because the show follows the real lives of these people, which means we will probably get to see Meisha out and about doing all the Minnesotan things, when she isn't visiting her foreign beau that is. I hope Meisha finds love. I will be watching the rest of the season to see how it all plays out!
