A new cafe for cat lovers will open soon in Minnesota.

What?!?

According to Business Insider: The concept started in countries like Japan and Taiwan, then popped up on the West and East coasts of the United States a few years ago. The cafés have two separate areas, a traditional café and cat room. Guests order a coffee or tea in the café and enter another room to drink their beverage with cats.

I did a little more digging and found that Cafe Meow will serve coffee, tee and baked goods like muffins. The coffee shop, located at 2317 Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis, will get their cats from local animal shelters with the hopes of having customers adopt them.

The cafe will be split in two rooms. One will house the food and beverage and one will house the cats. After ordering guests are can move to the other side and chill in the cat room.

I am a cat owner, and I love the idea of helping cats get adopted, but I have questions. Does each visitor get a complimentary lint roller? Does the place smell like a giant litter-box?
