It's not over yet. The Steele County Highway Department announces a couple more road  construction projects. Starting Monday, August 27 pavement repair work will being on County 45 or Oak Avenue from McKinley Street to School Street. The road will be open to through traffic but there will be some lane closures.Over time the pavement has settled leaving uneven pavement between the traffic lands. Crews will be pumping grout under the pavement to level the concrete. This work is expected to take around 4 weeks.

On Wednesday, August 29 work will begin on County 4 from County 14 to County 3 just east of Hope. The road will be open to thru traffic but there will be lane closures and flaggers. The project will include milling and reclaiming the existing pavement and then resurfacing the road. this project is expected to take until October 15.

Completion of both projects are subject to the weather.
