Recently it has been revealed that TSA, The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) is holding its annual Cutest Canine contest, and Kare 11 brought to my attention that “a dog working at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) has advanced to the final round.”

Yes, you heard that right, TSA is holding a contest for their cutest dog, and Ebbers, an 11-year-old Vizla-Lab mix, has been working at MSP since 2015 and is the oldest dog in TSA's current canine program, and now is a finalist in the contest. Along aside him, is the other finalist, Tom-Magnum, a German Shorthaired Pointer who works at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Kare 11 gave a wonderful little summary of Ebbers, stating “He has assisted with security at two Super Bowls, the Indy 500, and the Special Olympics World Games. When he's not helping to keep people safe, Eebbers loves swimming in Minnesota's lakes. He's also a fan of squeaky toys and apples.

TSA is holding the contest on Twitter and is asking us as the public to vote. You are able to vote on their Twitter poll and then can also head over to their Instagram and Facebook. As I am writing this, the tweet was posted four hours prior, and so far, Ebbers is leading with 80% of the votes. And not to mention, all the comments are cheering for him (yay!).

So head on over and vote by the end of August 24th, and the winner will be announced August 26 (noted by Kare 11 as National Dog Day).

All information about Ebbers and the competition is credited to Kare 11’s article found here.
