Muddy Cow Comes to Faribault

Good news for downtown Faribault. The old Boston's/Mill City building will soon become the Muddy Cow. This Coon Rapids-based family sports bar hopes to close the deal in March and begin remodeling the building sometime in April and be open by June.

I, for one, am glad to see that this building will no longer be sitting idle. It's a nice looking facility in a great location. It's been sitting empty for nearly two and a half years after its closing as Mill City in November 2014.

I checked out their Coon Rapids location's menu to see what was on it and it looks like their specialty is burgers. With names like the Looney, The EKG, Rodeo Cow, Doughnut Mess With Us and the Holy Cow, this place looks like my kind of dining experience. They even have a Mac 'N Cheese burger, which sounds dangerously messy but delicious to me. They also have a tempting variety of appetizers including Loaded Fries, Ultimate Nachos, Jalapeno Poppers, Poutine and more.

According to their website, they have bingo every Thursday night and cater to large parties. I'm sure that's why the old Boston's site worked out perfect for them with the large, private back room.

I feel this is a nice addition to the many great dining experiences we already have in Faribault.
