
Northfield Police Warn of Fake Money Scam
According to a notice from the Northfield Chamber of Commerce, the Northfield Police Department has been notified that someone is attempting to cash in fake $100 bills at local businesses in exchange for smaller $10s and $20s.
The police have few details about the suspects. They were last seen at Caribou Coffee getting into a Dodge Charger with Illinois licence plates. If you see a vehicle matching this description, or have someone attempt to pay for something with a $100 bill, please contact the Northfield Police Department at (507) 645-4477.
