There's nothing scary about the weekend and Halloween weather forecast for southern Minnesota (unless you're hoping for rain).

The expanding and deepening drought across the southern part of the state is serious business, and we really need some significant rounds of precipitation -- but it doesn't look like that's coming any time soon.

The forecast for this weekend and Halloween, and deep into next week, looks like anything but November-like. On Monday, trick-or-treaters will be basking in high temps in the mid 60s.

High temperatures will near record levels in the middle of next week. As it appears right now, we'll be pushing 70 through at least next Thursday.

I'm flashing back to all of the Halloweens growing up in Minnesota where my mom made me wear a snow suit under my costume -- completely destroying my whole vibe. Not this year.
