Voters in the NRHEG school district will go to the polls on Tuesday, April 9 to make a decision on a $9.1 million referendum. The vote will determine whether the District will be able to make improvements at both its school facilities in Ellendale and New Richland.

Among the specific improvements is access to ADA-compliant restrooms, more efficient HVAC systems, improve electrical systems and enhance indoor air quality. also update to the Science and Family and Consumer Science classrooms.

Those who live in Waseca County, the city of Harland or in Hartland Township in Freeborn County will vote at the school in New Richland. Residents of Steele County, the city of  Geneva, Town of Bath, Geneva Township and Freeborn Township will vote at the Ellendale School.
