One of the projects on the Minnesota Department of Transportation's list for 2020, is the repaving of Highway 251 in Freeborn and Mower counties. Representatives from MnDOT will be on hand at the open house on Tuesday, March 26 from 4-7pm at the Hollandale Village Hall.The public may drop in anytime during the open house to offer feedback and ask questions. Maps will be available and there will be no formal presentation.

The paving project will be done on a little over 16 and 1/2 miles of Highway 251 from I-35 and then east to Highway 218. Also included in the 2020 project is the replacement of approach panels on the bridge of I-35. Also culvert/pipes will be replaced along the route and turn lanes will be installed at Freeborn County Road 26.

A reminder that MnDOT is also offering an open house on Tuesday, March 19 at their construction building in Owatonna where you can learn more about the Highway 14 project between Owatonna and Dodge Center. Hours will be 6-7:30pm.
