Owatonna Chamber Alert

In a news release, the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce is alerting parties to company making marketing calls supposedly on behalf of Owatonna athletic events. A company called Sports Media Marketing located in Texas is calling Owatonna businesses selling sponsorships for local high school athletics. The Chamber stresses that they are not connected to Owatonna High School sports and will not be used at Owatonna athletic events.

If contacted, you may contact the Owatonna Chamber or the OHS Activities office at 444-8988. You may also contact them if you have concerns about the legitimacy of an ad or sponsorship. The Chamber notes that this company attempted the same thing last year.
