In their coronation Monday morning, with students and teachers dancing through the decades and football coach Jeff Williams jiving through the gym in a wig, flannel shirt and jeans, Owatonna High School named its homecoming queen and king. Molly Hawkins and Nathan Buegler were named royalty.

The other queen finalists included Lauren Arthur, Grace Cocchiarella, Sydney Kretlow and Emma Maher. The other king finalists were Matthew Buetel, David Keller, Matthew Segler, Joseph Stransky and Jason Williamson.

The other semifinals were Morgan Blood, Lainy Boedecker, Paige Boedecker, Alyssa Cicero, Victoria Dietz, Lily Redman, Mary Sager, Adnan Abdullahi, Zachary Barrett, Joseph Edel, Mason Rhoades, Dawson Rignhofer and Benjamin Zappa.

The theme for the week is "Through the Decades" with Monday being That 70's Day. The rest of the week's themes are Jammin' 80's, Stylin' 90's, Throwback Thursday and Be Present & Represent the Huskies.

The homecoming parade is Friday, September 21 at 1:30 pm through downtown Owatonna. The Huskies host Rochester JM in football Friday at 7 pm. A student dance is scheduled for Saturday at the middle school at 9 pm.
