The Owatonna VFW voted this week and passed a motion that no NFL game will be shown on the TV at the Owatonna VFW where any of the players disrespected the flag before the kickoff.

Several VFW's in Ohio have stopped airing the Cleveland Browns football games after some of the players failed to stand for the National Anthem prior to an exhibition game last month. A number of Browns players knelt in protest during the playing of the anthem. As a result the Cleveland Police Patrolman's Association  announced that they would not hold the flag prior to last weekends Brown's game as a protest of the player's anthem protest.

A VFW post in Texas made a decision recently to not air the games involving 6 distinct NFL teams that have had cases of not respecting the flag prior to a game.
