The Paradise Center for the Arts (PCA) in downtown Faribault is unsure when they will be able to open their doors.  Meanwhile utilities need to be paid and there are some other expenses.

Executive Director Heidi Nelson joins us on today's KDHL AM Minnesota at 9:30 a.m. to talk about a project she hopes will help the Paradise stay alive.

Nelson is requesting performers who have graced the stage of the Faribault theatre to record a song, read a poem or somehow share their creativity and encourage people to become Paradise members.

The uncertainty of when even art classes can resume is frustrating Nelson and her staff.

I believe those recordings will be on the Paradise Center for the Arts website.  We will obviously find out for sure when we visit with Nelson.

This past weekend would have been the Kentucky Derby and the annual Big Hearts, Big Hats fundraiser for the PCA.  Typically one of their best fundraisers of the year.
