Rascal Flatts was set to wrap up July at Treasure Island Resort and Casino, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the band has decided to cancel their summer Farewell Tour.

The group issued a statement yesterday on social media that while 2020 is still an important year to the group as they have decided to retire at the end of the year, they wanted everyone to stay safe and felt it was of best interest to not move forward with the tour.

In January of 2020, the group mentioned that there was "No Sadness" in what was supposed to be their last horah, but the reason for their retirement was "just new chapters, new journeys, and new beginnings."

Refunds are available for those who have purchased a ticket to one of their concerts, and that information can be found at livenation.com/refund.

Rascall Flatts will retire with 14 number-one singles on the country chart, according to Billboard.

Rascal Flatts isn't the only concert in Minnesota to be affected by COVID-19. George Strait has rescheduled his concert at U.S Bank Stadium to 2021, and Reba and Brooks and Dunn have cancelled their June 2020 dates in Las Vegas.
