Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who has served prison time for an earlier DUI conviction may be headed back for another term.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office reports the man was arrested Wednesday evening in Stewartville.

A patrol deputy responding to a call about an erratic motorist stopped the vehicle and suspected the driver had been drinking. Arrested was 41-year-old Jesse Higgins. A breath test taken at the adult detention center determined Higgins had a blood/alcohol concentration of .17. He is expected to be charged with felony DWI.

Court records show Higgins has been convicted of four earlier DUI offenses, dating back to 2001.

His conviction for a 2010 case resulted in a 64-month prison sentence, which was handed down in 2012.
