Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is accused of pointing a gun at the employees of a Rochester pizza business after becoming upset about his order.

Rochester police Captain Casey Moilanen says officers were called to the Domino's Pizza location at 4125 E. Frontage Road Northwest around 10 PM and were told the man at the drive-thru window had thrown pizza slices at them and then pointed a handgun in their direction before speeding away. The workers indicated the customer was apparently upset because he had tried to order a pizza with toppings on the side and was told that was not allowed.

Captain Moilanen says the vehicle driven by the customer was later located in the parking lot at the Valhalla Apartments complex along Elton Hills Drive. He says the driver, who matched the description provided by the Domino's Pizza employees, was preparing to exit the vehicle when officers arrived at the scene and questioned. The arrest report indicates he admitted being at the business but denied pointing a gun at the employees.

The vehicle and the suspect, who was identified as 34-year-old Victor Fortner, were searched but a gun was not found. Captain Moilanen says the man was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree assault.
