Play the Scavenger Hunt at the Rice County Fair to Score Concert Tickets!
One of the best things about summer in Southern Minnesota is our county fairs! The food, the events, the rides, the attractions -- so many great things to enjoy. This year, we have teamed up with our friends at Faribault Vacuum and Sewing to add yet another fun thing to do at the Rice County Fair -- an interactive Scavenger Hunt for your chance to win tickets to see Alan Jackson live at the Xcel Energy Center Jul 29th! We'll draw a new winner every day from July 20-23!
How to Join the Scavenger Hunt at the Rice County Fair
1. First, you need to download our station app. It's free and the scavenger hunt game is only accessible using the app.
2. Open the app and tap on the "Scavenger Hunt" 🔍 button at the top of the home screen or the button below the first featured story.

3. The game will officially begin on Wednesday, July 20. Go ahead and open the app and join the hunt now and we will send you a reminder notification when the game starts.
4. When the hunt begins, you will see a list of challenges to complete. We have virtual 'tokens' -- animals, fair food, country artists, secret codes, and more -- hidden all around the fairgrounds. Locate and capture each token -- Pokémon GO style -- to complete the challenges. Complete all challenges to qualify to win the Alan Jackson tickets.
