Severe Storms Possible Today Across Southern Minnesota

There's a threat of severe storms across southern Minnesota today, tomorrow, and Monday.

A line of thunderstorms over western Minnesota will track southeast through central and eastern Minnesota by late this morning. The main severe risk will likely be late this afternoon and evening.

Large hail and damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph will be primary severe threats this afternoon and evening.

Another round of strong to severe storms are possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts and isolated large hail would be primary threats.

Ongoing storms could linger into Monday morning, with the potential to re-intensify and become strong to severe by early afternoon.
