Severe Weather Possible Saturday Across Southern Minnesota
Minnesota is on pace to set a record for the fewest tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings for the state in a season.
We all know how dry it has been, and without moisture you don't get storms. That could change a bit this weekend.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across the area Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Some of these storms could produce strong wind, large hail, and heavy rain. An isolated tornado could also be possible.

Monitor the forecasts, and have a way to receive warnings on Saturday, especially if you have plans outdoors.
The chances for showers and thunderstorms continue through Sunday and into Monday, so with any luck we'll be able to get some meaningful precipitation (without the severe aspects).
High temperatures Sunday through Wednesday of next week look to only climb into the mid to upper seventies.
