The National Weather Service says there's a chance of severe weather across much of southern Minnesota today.

Multiple lines of severe storms could move across the area. The greatest risk of severe weather will be from late afternoon, through the evening, and into the overnight hours.

Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a couple of tornadoes will all be possible, along with locally heavy rain.
