Silent Auction and Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for A Local Citizen of Owatonna
Spaghetti is a universal favorite, though as a kid, I despised spaghetti nights because my parents couldn't resist adding onions, mushrooms, and large chunks of tomato....all ingredients that I had to grow up to like.

Whether you like spaghetti or not, I urge you to attend the Ed Olson Benefit on Saturday, May 15th at Owatonna Eagles Club (141 East Rose St). A silent auction will begin at 3 pm, and the spaghetti dinner will be from 4-6:30 pm.
The dinner costs $8. Mind you, all the proceeds of this fundraiser will go to Ed and his family to help with medical expenses.
In November of 2019, Ed suffered a small stroke. He was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital, though he was released a week later. Unfortunately, within days of being home, Ed suffered a major stroke. He was then taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester and was diagnosed with a Bilateral Dissection of the Carotid Artery.
Ed has spent several weeks at KODA Living progressing toward rehabilitation. He is now continuing his rehabilitation at home. Due to the strokes, Ed can no longer return to work.
Anyone who has had serious medical issues knows hospital bills aren't cheap nor is rehabilitation. Attending this benefit would surely help the family continue on toward the path of health.
If you can't attend, but still wish to help you can make a general donation. It can be sent to Hometown Federal Credit Union in Owatonna, ATTN: Ed Olson Benefit.
